Dr. Zachari LaPointe
Dr. Zachari LaPointe, DAOM, earned her B.A. with honors, from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Psychology and American Indian Studies. In 2000, she received her master’s degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University (NHSU) in Bloomington, Minnesota, and in 2001 received her acupuncture license from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has completed additional training in Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET) and auricular medicine.
In 2016, Dr. LaPointe moved back to home to Michigan from Tampa, Florida, where she managed an acupuncture clinic specializing in substance use, mental health & pain management. In 2021 she earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) in Roseville, Minnesota. Dr. Lapointe specializes in pain management, weight loss, smoking cessation, substance abuse, and mental/emotional health.
